Centre For Rural Development And Social Research (CRDS)
Centre for Rural Development and Social Research is a wing of Grama Niketan Charitable Society. CRDS is a voluntary organisation that undertakes both research and field based activities in an attempt to augment rural development. The organisation considers participatory development, empowering of vulnerable sections, sustainable development and non-discrimination as its core principles.
Our Mission:
We, Centre for Rural Development and Social Research attempt to carry out Research and participatory development activities with the help of the target communities that provide the rural people with better prospects for economic development and sustainable livelihood. We attempt to ensure participation of rural community in these programs.

We strive for a prosperous dawn with empowered communities self-sustained habitats.
Our Programs
Through our Programs Sreyas, Samrudhi, e-Vigyan and Akshayapatra we attempt to find amiable solution to the concerns of rural lot.
Sreyas: At Sreyas, We provide financial assistance to the downtrodden sections to help them to earn their livelihood and to promote employment opportunities in rural areas through vocational training and guidance and by setting up agro based industries in the rural areas.7
GN Exports
GN Exports is our futuristic plan which we intend to develop as a marketing mechanism to support the products of our various beneficiaries thereby helping them in getting optimum value in international market. Through GN exports a professional export house we intend to gain an international market for our products.
An export house with commitment towards quality brings forth a wide range of agro based products and spices that are of best in quality we intend to bring everything from handicrafts to fruits and vegetables into international market.
GN Agencies
GN Agencies is a marketing wing of gramaniketan charitable society.By this venture , we aim at collecting finished goods from our own groups and other producers and distribute the products in the rural areas.

Spice India
Spice India , an initiative of gramaniketan – center for rural development and social research(Reg no I-74/2007) is instituted for the welfare of the people.By our venture, we ensure healthy and safe quality products.Working from the grass rules level, we come up with spices which are extracted directly from our farms.We are intended to act as a bridge between the cultivators and consumers with the aim of saving them from the clutches of middle man.we also provide technical and financial assistance with the farmers to improve their skills and their productivity. We assure the consumers fresh and quality products prepared by the real producers with their treditional and advanced technologies.

Green fresh vegetables
Green Fresh Vegetables is an initiative of gramaniketan to provide quality vegetables to the people. We are acting as a connecting bridge between the cultivators and the consumers. We are collecting fresh vegetables from the peasants and distribute it among the people who inhabited in cities. We also have a plan to save the peasants from the exploitation of middle man.
