Grama Niketan was launched in 2007, as a charitable society, committed to rural development and social research. Grama Niketan is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered under Travancore, Cochin-Literary Scientific, Charitable society’s registration Act 1955 (I-74/2007). It is also affiliated with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Idukki (Affiliation No: 3009/08) and the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board (Affiliation No: F 149).

Grama Niketan aims not just development and progress, but our team of experts continuously strives to ensure that this progress is sustained for the future. Grama Niketan works with a Head Office in Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram,Regional office at Parathode Idukki and an Administrative office at Trivandrum, Thodupuzha.
